To demonstrate basic functionality of the Elm OBDII to usb connector.

The project is based on:

Materials:

1. Linux laptop computer.

2. obdator OBD OBD2 Code Reader Scanner USB OBD Scan Tool Elm 327 to USB cable. Purchased for $11.99 USD

Software:

1. Linux OS

2. Scan Tool software

Hardware Set-Up, Compiling, and Testing:

1. Follow instructions from Sam Hobbs website tutorial.

2. Make sure you authorize access for the /dev/ttyUSB0.
