Objective:
DSLR - Digital single-lens reflex camera. Wiki reports DSLR replaced film based SLRs in the 2000s. However, they did not explain the benefit of using a mirror to reflect image to the eye piece viewer?
The two lenses that came with the camera body are useful. The 18-55 mm lens with vibration reduction is useful for close range flexible shooting, while the 300 mm provides more optical power. I won't decide which lens will be my prime until both lenses are tested in the field.
