Operation:

I don't use Philips shaver as often. It cuts close but leaves too much patchy stubble behind, not ideal.

Philips trimmer is great tool as it trims down close and consistent. This is primary way to trim facial hair. It also works well for trimming hair, powerful enough to easily cut through thick hair.

2022-02-05 bought a second trimmer to have on back-up at same price. It looks nearly identical but the model number did increment to MG7796. Found some of the niche attachments change but everything else seems the same.

2022-02-05 I found one difference, the new model does not run while plugged in to charge. I presume this is a safety feature that was added.
