Objective:
House was built with a Maytag dryer that failed due to age after 17 years of service. Pictures of the old unit:

I replaced with a Maytag Dryer similar, model MEDC465HW. The cost was $630 USD at Costco, this price include all attachments, delivery and haul away. The unit came with a 2 year warranty.
