The existing kictchen faucet starting leaking. I decieded to replace before it became a bigger problem.

Other information:
The home came built with a similar Delta Faucet in 2004. The faucet lasted about 16 years, and I expect the same from the new one.Conclusion:
No unforeseen difficulty with the installation. Works as expected.
