Objective:
To post Ford Focus purchased in Alberta in 2014.
I chose a Ford Focus for an economy car. I liked the style of the 2014 Focus SE hatchback. The sale price including GST and extended warranty was $24,872 ($19,100 USD). I paid $2,135 for 5 years extended warranty which was far too much for what it was worth.

Conclusion:
This car had issues with Ford's dual clutch transmission. The issue was so serious that legal actions were undertaken in Australia, Canada, and US. The particular car I owned had the transmission control module fail in 2019, September. Ford did replace this under the extended warranty.
