Objective:

Evaluate and compare cost of homemade windshield washer to the commercial cost. This fluid is designed to freeze at temps below 20F.

Non-Consumable Materials:

1.1 gallon jug.

Consumable Materials:

1. 30 g of dishwasher soap. Approximate $3 per kg.

2. 450 ml of isopropyl alchol.

3. 3 L of tap water.

Mix all ingrediants together.

Conclusion

The cost per litre of commerical fluid is about $4.00 per gallon, therefore commercial fluid is significantly cheaper.
