Project 4: Cost of full synthetic oil change.

Objective:
I will be testing the Mobil 1 annual protection full synthetic oil. Intent is to change oil annually.
Non-Consumable Materials:
1.FloTool Rhino Ramp. Cost $40.00 US.
1a. FloTool 11909 RhinoRamps Cost $56.75. After just shy of 5 years started taking on damage. Decided to replace every 5 years for safety. Budget $3 per oil change to replace equipment. 2.FloTool Oil Pan. Cost $3.00 US.
3.Funnel. Cost $2.00 US.
Consumable Materials:
1. Mobil 1 Annual Protection Full Synthetic. 5W-20. 5 US Qts Jug. Cost $40 US (same in 2023).
2. Mobil 1 High Efficiency High Capacity Oil Filter. M1-102A. Cost $10 US.
2a. Mobil 1 High Efficiency High Capacity Oil Filter. M1-102A. Cost $11.34 US 2023-04-22.

Procedure:
Change oil as per manufacturers instructions.
Conclusion
The retail cost of high end oil change is $100 US, but not necessarily Mobil 1. Cost of oil, filter and ramp and oil drain pan sum to the same as a full synthetic oil change. Review in 5 years to determiner if notice any difference in enginer performance from annual oil changes.
